The Corrugated Board Factory of 2025

The 17 FEFCO Technical Seminar will take place on 22, 23 and 24 October 2013 at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Over the years, the FEFCO Technical Seminar has become one of the best platforms for networking within the Corrugated Board Industry.

It is the only dedicated conference and trade show for the European Corrugated Industry. Once again for this 2013 edition, the FEFCO Production Committee has taken into account the delegates’ suggestions and drafted a programme of a very high standard.

Redesigning the Label

Finat, the international association for the self-adhesive label industry, is calling for papers for its 2014 Technical Seminar.

Next year’s event runs from March 5 - 7, and will again be staged at the Fira Palace Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. The one-and-a-half day seminar is aimed at all levels of the technical community, from research and development to production to technical directors and executives.

Polyolefins, what is the recipe for success?

The global markets for polyolefins are undergoing radical changes in balance as the advent of shale gas is moving production towards North America. The AMI leading expert in polyolefins, Noru Tsalic, has reviewed the market trends and the effects on the whole supply chain. He spoke on this subject at the annual industry forum, Polyolefin Additives in Germany and is scheduled to review the latest data in September 2013 in Dusseldorf.

iF design awards 2014

In the forthcoming year the prestigious iF design awards will be presented once again. Manufacturers, agencies and designers are invited to register their entries for all three awards iF product design award, iF communication design award and iF packaging design award by 25 October 2013.

The 7th edition of the Pentawards, the world’s major competition devoted exclusively to packaging design is open for entries to 24 May 2013.

Packaging designers, brand owners, packaging suppliers from the world over are invited to enter their best creations in 50 categories divided into 5 major sectors: Food – Beverages – Body - Other Markets – Luxury.

Packology Award

An award for the entire design and industrial chain that contributes to the realization and marketing of new and successful packaging: this is the aim of the Packology Award, the award wanted by UCIMA and Rimini Fiera that will be presented at Packology, the international trade show-event to be held from the 11^th to the 14^th of June.
